Try again. Some players hit to make it hurt. That’s hockey. At least for some |

The Knights transition last night was fun to watch. So many little drops and area passes to the man with speed in the neutral zone. That was a great game to watch.

It was a great game by both teams. Would have liked the goaltending to be less optional, but it was very entertaining. |

Entertaining. Yes. Great. No.
Would have liked to see actual rules being called and a bit better goaltending. |

Wow my first game in Vegas didn’t dissappoint! Not sure how it was on TV but everything from pre game to the introductions to the actual game was unreal! Michael Buffer introducing was actually pretty good there haha Floyd Mayweather was even at the game! Got to see him walk by after the game downstairs.
(His security around him is crazy)
Anyways the game was played real fast it felt like being there. Drinks all day might have spead it up some to haha
Can’t wait for game 2 on wednesday now!!! If I survive here that long that is!
Go Knights!

True. It was garbage equally. I just think it negates so much of the skill these guys have that we aren't getting anywhere near the best product possible.
Also it makes it damn near impossible to teach my girlfriend the rules. |

I don't know why everyone thinks fighting is why a guy like Reaves is good to have. You get him to give the defencemen he is chasing after something to think about. I'm happy Reaves is getting his shot to make an impact, that 4th line looked pretty solid last night.
While I was and am still perfectly happy with the Brassard trade, the Pens were missing a physical element this year and made life easy on D men going in the corners. Exactly why Kunitz should have been back. |

Is it really not expected for Reaves to chip in on the offense? It’s his first real shot at being more than an overachieving goon in the nhl. Given actual playing time I could see him with 15. |

Learned some pretty interesting info on Gallant to. Don’t care if you believe it or not but he was fired in his last season in Florida for telling management he wouldn’t use analytics at the start of the season until the team was coached properly because it’s useless until the players know what they are doing in the system. I said but it was his 3rd season coaching there? Got told every team is lost and sloppy systematically at the start of the season and from year to year game plans and systems are always tweaked with new players and developing players. The new GM said change or your fired and he agreed to get fired rather then change what he thought was right and was clearly working.
Didn’t know all this till yesterday but he coached saint johns sea dogs (QMJHL) for 3 season which apparently wasnt a “great” team at the time of arrival and had a record of something like 165-40 over 3 season with 2 championship and a memorial cup win.... then went to Florida and improved them by 25 points (year over year) in his first season and his second season did even better and coached them to the franchises best point total in team history. In his 3rd season he was fired 20 games in and was over 500 at the time. After having 2 straight franchise best seasons then fired after 20 games being over .500 at the time shows you that meeting that happened is spot on.
And now he’s doing pretty decent with the knights over this 100 game stretch I’d say as well..... |

That Wilson hit was again complete predatory garbage last night! Not that I want to see it have to be Reaves to fit the assumed narrative but I would love to see the tables turned in theory (not asking for anyone else to pull a Wilson) but it Kuzy or Backstrom gets lit up "tens of seconds" after a pass like March did...what would be the response by the fans and No Neck? I venture to guess it wouldn't be the token line "it was a good clean hockey check, too bad Kuzy is gone for the remainder of the finals..." |

I don't know about 15, but the guy is showing that he can bring more than throwing punches when given an opportunity.
I'm not saying that a Reaves for Brassard swap was bad, but he's not exactly Tanner Glass out there. |

Reaves couldn't crack 40 points in the WHL
Reaves couldn't crack 20 points in the AHL
He basically is Tanner Glass |

He's a better puck handler than Tanner Glass.
He's a much better skater than Tanner Glass.
He can effectively forecheck unlike Tanner Glass.
He'd never put up points even if you gave him 20 minutes a night on the top line. But as a 4th liner, he's a fine player who will chip in a few points here and there. |
